WordPress Migration
Led a four-month migration project which aimed to seamlessly update the content management system from Joomla to WordPress for the entire conservationfund.org website
Responsibilities
- Served as project manager for the migration process.
- Conducted content audits on Joomla and WordPress websites.
- Communicated progress and challenges with internal staff, IT team, and marketing department.
- Collaborated with external marketing agency and web developers.
- Communicated issues through Jira (issue and project tracking software) and shared weekly progress with stakeholders.
- Led the additional migration of external annual report website from Joomla to WordPress.
Results
- Migrated over 300 pages from Joomla to WordPress without interrupting workflow.
