Exploring Communities Through Dialogue

As a content creator, I find the mobility and format of podcasts very powerful in connecting with a wide audience. While living in Southwest Virginia, I produced a podcast called Local Transmissions which featured conversations with guests from various communities in the Appalachian region and beyond. I interviewed luthiers, small business owners, independent musicians, and organizers who shared their stories with the world and generated awareness toward a particular aspect of their community.
